Rachel Hershinow, who recently celebrated her 10th anniversary as owner of the popular boutique, has been named one of the area’s Best of 2012.
Hershinow was chosen as the Best Personal Shopper on the North Shore by the readers of Make It Better magazine this month.
Rachel didn’t even know she was nominated and really appreciates the support!
According to Make It Better: “For fashion advice, our readers also flock to Rachel Hershinow, owner of Stella in Evanston. Her store’s eclectic collection of clothing and accessories and her fun sense of style is a knockout combo for fashion excellence.”
Wow! What great kudos. Thanks to Make It Better and to all our Stella and Rachel fans!
Stella, complete with a entirely new look and a bounty of fresh merchandise, celebrated its 10-year anniversary on March 15 with a fantastic after-hours party.
We want to thank all our customers who came out for the event and who continue to support our independently owned boutique.
If you missed the bash, there are pictures of the fun at racked.com, which had this to say about Stella:
“Any boutique that has the panache and the merchandise to keep their customers happy for ten years deserves a standing ovation and acknowledgment that they’re serving the fashionable community a service by being in business.”
Thanks for the coverage, racked.com! If you haven’t seen the new Stella, there’s never been a better time to stop in, take a look and get ready for the warmer months ahead.
And, now, it’s in print.
Time Out Chicago took a stroll down Central Street and featured several of the eclectic stores the thoroughfare has to offer.
Only five merchants were mentioned and, of course, Stella was one of those highlighted.
Thanks, Time Out Chicago!
